Auto-renewal and reminders

Auto-renewal removes the need to watch dates: services pay for themselves and you get a notification about the charge.

How to enable

Dashboard → Settings → Billing tab → the Automatic renewal switch.

The Billing tab in settings

  1. The auto-renewal switch.
  2. Transaction history — every movement on the balance.
  3. Purchases — paid services.

The setting applies to all your services at once — there's no per-service switch.

How it works

Every hour the system checks services whose payment date has come:

  1. Charges the cost to the balance and moves the date to the next period.
  2. Sends a notification: what was extended, how much was charged and when the next charge is.
  3. If the money wasn't enough — the service isn't extended and you get an insufficient-funds notification with the current balance and the amount needed. The check repeats every hour, so it's enough to just top up — the next check extends the service.

Auto-renewal also brings already-stopped services back. It unfreezes a FastDL frozen for non-payment — charges the payment and switches the domain and SFTP back on, if the 5 days before file deletion haven't passed. It extends and restarts a game server stopped after its rental expired, if the 3 days before deletion haven't passed. But if the balance was short on the payment date, the server still stops until you top up — see What happens if you don't extend a server.

Reminders and delivery channels

All of this is on the Settings → Notifications tab.

The Notifications tab

  1. Email notifications — emails to your account address.
  2. Telegram — messages from the bot. The switch is available only after linking Telegram on the Profile tab: without it the bot has nowhere to write.
  3. Renewal reminders — a warning before the charge.

About the reminders themselves:

  • They arrive 3 days before the payment date.
  • One reminder per period — you won't get a second one for the same month.
  • If the balance won't cover the payment, the reminder includes a warning.

Even with both channels off, the notification is recorded in your history — nothing is lost.

Practical advice

  • Keep at least one billing period's worth on the balance.
  • Don't turn reminders off even if you use auto-renewal — they're the only signal that the money won't be enough.
  • Auto-renewal doesn't cancel services: to stop paying, close the service.
