Three ways to rent

When ordering a game server you can choose one of three pricing modes. The server you end up with is the same — only what you pay for differs. In the panel the form opens on the fixed plan ("Dedicated resources"); the configurator on the public "Game servers" page starts on slots.

Per-slot plan

You pick a number of slots (players) and the price is per slot. The server's resources are sized to that number automatically.

Suits you if you think in terms of "I need a server for 20 people" and don't want to deal with cores and gigabytes.

In this mode the MAX_PLAYERS variable is set by the plan, so it isn't editable in launch variables.

Fixed plan

A set of fixed configurations: each lists vCPU, RAM and SSD plus a monthly price.

Suits you when you want a predictable, "same as everyone" option — the fastest way to order.

The plan list depends on the chosen location and node: each site has its own set of configurations and prices, and the list refreshes when you switch nodes. If there are no plans for the chosen game and node, you'll see "Plans coming soon" and the order button stays disabled — pick another node or another mode.

Builder

Three sliders: CPU cores, RAM and SSD. The price is recalculated instantly and adds up from the cost of each resource.

Suits you when you know your requirements exactly — say, lots of memory for plugins but the CPU doesn't matter.

Steps: memory changes in 500 MB increments, disk in 10 GB.

The builder isn't available on every node: if the node list for the chosen location is empty, that site only sells fixed and per-slot plans.

What's common

Whatever the mode, you choose:

  • the game — any from the list in the order form;
  • the location — pick the one closest to your players, it decides the ping;
  • the node — a specific machine, with its CPU listed. Only nodes that sell the chosen pricing mode are listed; a full node is marked "no room".

Every plan already includes 24/7 protection against DDoS attacks and the control panel.

Prices can differ between nodes and locations: each site has its own. That applies to plans, the per-slot price, the builder's resources and the dedicated IP alike.

Extra: a dedicated IP

The rent dialog has an Add a dedicated IP checkbox with the price for the chosen node — the server gets an address of its own instead of a shared one, plus the game's standard port instead of a random one. Only with it can the server's port be changed later. On nodes without a shared IP the checkbox is mandatory, and where dedicated IPs aren't sold it isn't shown. Details — in the Dedicated IP section.
