Extending services
Every service — game server, FastDL, dedicated IP — is paid monthly and has its own next payment date. It's shown in the project's service list.
How to extend by hand
- Dashboard → Services, open the project.
- Find the service in the list.
- In the row menu choose extend.
- Check the amount and the new payment date, confirm.
The money is charged to the balance immediately and the date moves a month forward. A purchase entry appears in the transaction history.
You can extend ahead of time — the month is added to the current payment date, not to today. Paid time isn't lost.
The "Extend all" button
An Extend all button appears in the project header when some service's payment date is near. It extends only the project's game servers by a month — FastDL and dedicated IPs are extended individually from the row menu. Servers with no end date (indefinite ones) are skipped.
If the balance is short
The extension won't go through and you'll see a message about insufficient funds. Top up and try again.
What happens if you don't extend
| Service | What happens after the payment date |
|---|---|
| Game server | Stops, and the panel shows the "Rental expired" status. Only extending is available; after 3 days the server is deleted with all its files — see What happens if you don't extend a server |
| FastDL | Frozen immediately (domain and SFTP off, files intact), 5 days later the files are deleted for good — see What happens if you don't extend FastDL |
| Dedicated IP (separate service) | The overdue service is flagged in the panel; the address stays yours until the service is closed |
Extending an overdue service also counts from the old payment date: if the server stopped two days ago, after paying for a month it runs for 28 days. Overdue days aren't returned, so extending ahead of time is cheaper.
How not to track dates by hand
Enable auto-renewal — the charge goes through by itself on the payment date, and 3 days before it a reminder arrives if the balance won't cover it.
